ADS-TEC Energy (ADSE [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/ADSE]) announced its preliminary [https://seekingalpha.com/pr/20469899-ads-tec-energy-reports-preliminary-and-unaudited-financial-results], unaudited 2025 financial results on Monday, total revenue declined to €31.6 million (down from €110 million in 2024 mainly due to the insolvency of a legacy hardware customer.
However, service revenues surged by 84% to €10.3 million, reflecting nearly doubled service revenue as the company shifts from hardware sales.
The operating result was a loss of €56.7 million, impacted by lower hardware volumes and a one-time €10.2 million inventory write-down as the company realigns production.
Despite redeeming $27.9 million in convertible notes in November 2025, ADS-TEC ended the year with €7 million in cash, to support ongoing initiatives.
